Obituary for Angelo Labriola

Cohoes Angelo Labriola, - Angelo "Larry" Labriola, 91, of Cohoes passed away peacefully at Evergreen Commons Health Care Facility in E. Greenbush on Friday November 16, 2018. Born in Manhattan, he was the son of the late Rosario and Rosalia Guarino Labriola.

Larry received his education in the Cohoes Schools. He was a proud WWII United States Navy Veteran and was the recipient of the Victory Medal and the American Theatre Medal. Larry was a professional bartender employed with his family establishment, Mr. G's in Manhattan. He was an accomplished artist and talented singer. Larry enjoyed the companionship of his fellow veterans at the VA Social Center in Albany.

He is survived by his sister, Roseanne F. Roylance of Cohoes, nieces; his dedicated caretaker, Roxanne Roylance and Laurie Labriola-Reedy and nephew, Daniel Roylance, cousin, Josephine Sicari and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Frederick Labriola, niece Beverlyanne Taylor and nephew, Leonard D. Roylance.

A funeral service will be held in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes, Monday evening, November 19 at 6:00 with Reverend Donald Bourgeois officiating.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Monday from 4-6 prior to the funeral.

Interment with full military honors will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville on Tuesday November 20 at 10:00.
