Obituary for Bernadette Collison (Heroux)

Cohoes: Bernadette Heroux Collison, 87, of Cohoes passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with her niece and sister in law by her side on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Nelda Ayotte Heroux and beloved wife of the late Samuel R. Collison.

Bernadette was raised and educated in Cohoes. She moved to New Port Richey, Florida and was employed in sales in various retail stores. After residing in Florida for 25 years, Bernadette relocated back to her hometown of Cohoes to be closer to her loving family. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and embroidery. She was also a communicant of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Cohoes.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews and her dear sister in law, Jeanne Heroux of Cohoes. She was predeceased by her siblings, Nelda Drugan and Henry Heroux.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Church of the Holy Trinity, 122 Vliet Blvd Cohoes on Thursday JANUARY 27th at 10:30 A.M.

Interment will follow in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Church from 10:00 to 10:30 prior to Mass.
