Obituary for Brandt C. Robideau Sr.
CLIFTON PARK Brandt C. Robideau, Sr., 72, died peacefully Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Capstone Center for Rehab & Nursing.
Raised in Brunswick, Brandt spent most of his life in Cohoes, Waterford and Ballston Spa. He had worked for Cohoes DPW, Shenendehowa Central School District and most recently at Parts Unlimited in Ballston Spa until retiring.
Brandt was first and foremost a family man who always enjoyed working around his home. He will be especially remembered for his generous spirit and being loved by everyone he met.
Brandt was the loving husband of the late Margaret “Peggy” Snay Robideau; the devoted father of Vikki Hood (Martin) of Cohoes, Tracy Thompson (Chester) of Hoosick Falls and Brandt C. Robideau, Jr. (Brittany) of Clifton Park; step father of Robert L. Halikias and the late Kelly Halikias; brother of Gary and Shirley Robideau and brother in law of Kevin Snay (Carleen). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
