Obituary for Charlotte Pelletier (Maguire)

COHOES Charlotte Pelletier, 90, entered into eternal life Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 at Van Rensselaer Manor.

Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes McDonough Maguire. She went on to graduate from Albany Business College and worked for many years as an administrative aide for the NYS Dept. of Agriculture Markets. She was also a communicant of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Cohoes.

Charlotte’s main joy in life was her family. She often enjoyed traveling and going on vacations with them. She especially loved being a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother who faithfully attended sporting events, dance recitals, plays and concerts.

Charlotte was the loving wife of John Pelletier who passed in 2006; the beloved mother of John C. Pelletier (Lynn) of Cossayuna Lake, Robert J. Pelletier (Madeline) of East Schodack, Michele Poulin of Schuylerville and Denise Pelletier (Kristen) of Schuylerville; and the sister of the late Agnes McCarthy. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Kristan, Rebecca, Joshua (Robin), Andrew (Amy), Robert, John Paul (Suzanna), Ashley (Conner), Grace, Katie and Claire as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes and at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes. Interment will follow in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Monday from 4-6 p.m.

Masks will be required and social distancing and occupancy regulations observed.

Charlotte’s family would especially like to thank Dr. John Len of Cohoes for his many years of excellent care.
