Obituary for David E. Bluteau
TROY David E. Bluteau, 61, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Donald and Clara (Surprenant) Bluteau. He was a 1978 graduate of Cohoes High School and worked as a car and boat mechanic for most of his life. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and the outdoors.
David’s children and grandchildren were always very dear to heart. He is survived by his loving children, Christina, Emily and Matthew Bluteau; his adored grandchildren, Jonah and SkyLaBell Carroll and LilyAnn Reavey; his siblings, Donna Johnson (William), Philip Bluteau (Don Sallisky), Carolyn Connors (William) and Susan Rifenberg (Richard). He is also survived by the mother of his children, Theresa (Nahumyk) Bluteau as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his pet parakeets, Fred and Wilma.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
His family would like to thank the staff and his friends at Monument Square Apartments for their friendship and care during the last few years.
