Obituary for Elaine M. Doyle (Priest)
COHOES Elaine M. (Priest) Doyle, 82, died peacefully Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Born and educated in Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late James and Mabel Arnott Priest. Elaine was best known from her time running Doyle’s Restaurant in Greenwich for many years. Retiring from the restaurant business, she moved to Arizona in 1994 until returning to this area in 2008 where she has resided since.
In addition to her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Robert “Bob” Doyle; by her beloved son, Michael Len and by her former husband, Edward Len. She was also predeceased by all of her siblings, James, Julian, George, Larry and Eleanor Priest and Virginia Fisk.
Elaine is survived by her beloved son, Stephen Len and his wife Tina as well as her adored granddaughters, Alicia, Melanie, Amberly and Emily all of Cohoes. She is also survived by her stepson, Bob Doyle and his wife Sherry and her step grandson, Adam Doyle of Phoenix, AZ.
At Elaine’s request funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
