Obituary for Emily K. Clairmont
Cohoes Emily K. Clairmont, - Emily K. Evans Clairmont, 84, went home to Her Lord Jesus Christ, on November 16, 2018 in Austin, Texas. She was born in New Sharon, Iowa, to Frederick and Anna Evans.
Emily married the late Lawrence J, Clairmont Sr. in 1953 and lived in Cohoes. She retired from the State of New York as a secretary. She enjoyed playing games on her computer, reading her nook and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister Betty Miller of Seattle, Washington, brother-in-law Ronald Bagley of Troy, four children, Lawrence (Sue) Clairmont Jr., of Elkridge, Maryland, Ted (Amy) Clairmont of Austin, Texas, Sharon Clairmont of Lockhart, Texas and Tom (Lilian) Clairmont of Rensselaer. She was also greatly loved her 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd 105 Vliet Blvd Cohoes, NY Saturday morning, December 1, 2018 at 9:00. A funeral service will be held in the Heritage Baptist Church, 50 Lansing St, Cohoes Saturday morning at 9:30.
Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 pm.
The Clairmont family would like to extend a special thank you to Brookdale Assisted Living in North Austin and Hospice for being Emily's Angels on Earth.
