Obituary for Francis E. Hebert Sr.

Cohoes Francis E. Hebert, Sr. , - Francis E. Hebert, Sr. 84, of Waterside Way, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 23, 2018 embraced by his loving family at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Exephir and Genevieve Bordon Hebert and beloved husband of Mary F. Desautels Hebert of Cohoes.

Frank was a lifelong area resident and attended the Cohoes Schools. He was employed as a security guard with Burns Security. Frank was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, enjoyed all types of trains and was a friend of Bill W.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children, Eileen M. (Kevin Donohue) Hebert, Francis E. (Marie) Hebert, Jr., Daniel T. Hebert, Brian D. (Dianne) Hebert, James A. Hebert, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Raymond W. Hebert and brothers, Donald Hebert and Gerald Joseph Hebert.

Funeral from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd 105 Vliet Blvd, Cohoes, Saturday morning, October 27, 2018 at 8:30.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of The Holy Trinity Saturday morning at 9:00.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-6 p.m.

Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Cohoes.

Those wishing to remember Frank in a special way may make donations to Church of the Holy Trinity Food Pantry, 122 Vliet Blvd Cohoes, NY 12047.
