Obituary for Francis "Milt" Shepard

Clifton Park Francis "Milt" Shepard, - Francis "Milt" Shepard, 73, of Crescent Rd passed away peacefully at his residence embraced by his loving family. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Charles and Anne Tremblay Shepard and beloved husband of Mary L. Townley Shepard of Clifton Park.

Milt was a lifelong area resident and attended Keveny Memorial Academy. He was employed as an assistant manager with Genuine Auto Parts (NAPA) throughout the Capital District. A sportsman, Milt enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing softball and bowling. He joyfully travelled extensively with his wife and favorite destinations were Las Vegas and Cape Cod.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children: Melinda “Mindy” Shepard Wormuth of Charlton, Matthew C. Shepard and Scott A. Shepard both of Clifton Park, cherished grandchildren, Lucas H. and Chase J. Wormuth, treasured great granddaughter, Lexi Rose Wormuth, sister, Sandra (the late Roger) Tarte of FL, mother in law, Alice Townley of Esperance and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd, 105 Vliet Blvd Cohoes on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5-7 pm.

Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.

A very heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff of Community Hospice for all their compassionate care and support given to Milt and his family.
