Obituary for Helen Y. Hebert (Castracane)
COHOES Helen Yvonne Hebert, 64, of Reservoir St. died suddenly Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at her residence.
Born in Cohoes, Helen was the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice Roy Castracane and the wife of Leo Hebert who passed in 2005. She had been employed in the NYS Comptroller’s Office in Albany and was a member and past president in the CSEA. In her free time, she always enjoyed taking rides on her motorcycle and going camping.
Helen was the loving mother of Kimberle A. LeQue of Cohoes, Leo L. Hebert IV of Cohoes and the late Danielle L. Hebert; the sister of Edward Castracane of Cohoes; the grandmother of Taylor and Sydney LeQue, Alexander, Angelina, Austin and Adrian Hebert; and the great grandmother of Kaiden Durante. Helen is also survived by her loving partner, Mark Pavone as well as her feline companion, Kiki.
Relatives and friends may visit Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes.
