Obituary for Irene K. Bouchard
Cohoes Irene K. Bouchard, - Irene K. Chicaway Bouchard, 77, of Teresa St, Latham passed away peacefully at her residence Monday, January 21, 2019. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Bavidow Chicaway and beloved wife of the late Theodore M. Baran, Sr. and Marcil Bouchard.
Irene attended Cohoes schools and later worked for NYS Department of Transportation as a stenographer. She was dedicated to her family and home, and enjoyed taking care of her family.
She is survived by her sons; Theodore M. Baran, Jr. (Krista) of Averill Park and Stephen J. (Shannon) Baran of Watervliet; her brother William (Connie) Chicaway of Cohoes and sister Mary Ann (Richard) Greeley of Clifton Park. She also leaves behind her treasured granddaughters Amber and Heather Baran and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home Ltd., 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes on Friday, January 25 at 10:30 with Reverend Donald Bourgeois officiating.
Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
