Obituary for Joseph A. Bradley
CLIFTON PARK Joseph A. Bradley, 83, of Bradley & Associates, Troy, NY, passed away Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24, 2021.
Joseph was born in Cohoes, NY, May 24th 1938, he was the son of the late Alice and George Bradley.
Joseph graduated from LaSalle Institute in Troy, NY and went on to acquire a BA from Russell Sage College and then an MBA from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.
He started his accounting firm Bradley & Associates in 1978 and spent the next 43 years working to protect and fight for the small business owners who came to him for his expertise and advice. He was able to quickly gain their trust and friendship with his ability to put people at ease with kindness and quick wit. Many regarded him as family.
He was very pleased to have his son Tim work side by side with him in the practice since 1990. Tim plans to continue in business and carry on the spirit of his Dad.
Joseph is survived by his loving children, Annemarie Bradley-Sherron (Charles) and Timothy Bradley (Jude Bestle, Mia Losee) all of Clifton Park; and by several nieces and nephews as well as his beloved office mascot, GEORGE! (pooch).
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes, 122 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes, NY 12047.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends are invited and may visit at Fitzgerald Funeral home on Wednesday December 29th 2021 from 4-8 p.m.
