Obituary for Katherine A. Jeske
CLIFTON PARK Katherine A. Jeske, 62, entered into eternal life Sunday, December 11, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rosemary LeClair Jeske. She was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and had worked as a manager at Michael’s in Clifton Park until retiring due to disability. Prior to that she had worked as a manager at Hess and as district manager at McDonald’s.
She recently returned to the area from living in Florida where she belonged to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and going to flea markets and was known for her beautiful handmade crafts.
Katherine is survived by her loving companion, John Bottillo; by her beloved children, Jennifer Brunson of Troy, Randall Sousie (Amanda) of Troy and Andy Sousie (Jamie) of California; by her siblings, Michael Jeske of Green Island, Peter Jeske (Kathy) of Troy, James Jeske (Beth) of Schaghticoke, Rose Wilkinson (Ed) of North Carolina and Mary Jeske of Amsterdam. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren; her 1 great grandchild; her step children, her step great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and of course her adored dog and cat. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Frank Jeske and her sister, Susan Hinson (James).
A memorial service will be held Friday at 12 p.m. in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home from 10am -12pm prior to the service.
