Obituary for Linda J. Donnelly (Bold)
BOGHT CORNERS Linda J. Donnelly, 72, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Evergreen Commons.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late William Bold and Jean Therrien Hohn. Linda graduated from Shaker High School and the Albany Medical Center School of Nursing. She started her career in nursing at Albany Medical Center Hospital and found her passion as a cardiovascular nurse at AMC. She worked at several area hospitals throughout her nursing career as well as being a private duty nurse until she retired.
Linda always enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting and sewing. She loved spending time with her family as well as with her best friends from childhood. She also had a passion for helping others in the community especially with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Linda is survived by her beloved children, Adam Donnelly of Albany and Rebecca Donnelly of Waterford.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. and at 12 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday from 10-11:30 a.m.
