Obituary for Lisa M. Pitman (Chetwynd)
TROY Lisa M. Pitman, 47, entered into eternal life Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Albany Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Troy, Lisa was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Russell Sage College in Troy. She was currently employed as a billing analyst at St. Peter’s Health Partners in Troy.
Lisa was a caring person whom everyone loved. She always had a generous spirit and enjoyed helping others especially through charity work. She always loved cooking for family and friends and also liked to take rides through Vermont with her Mom.
Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, Eric J. Pitman; by her beloved children, Jarrett and Jillian Pitman all of Troy; by her loving mother, Linda Godzik Chetwynd of Schaghticoke; by her brother, Jon D. Chetwynd (Jennifer) of Schaghticoke; and by her nephews, Jon A. Chetwynd and Thomas W. Chetwynd. She is also survived by her two canine companions that she loved, Buck and Blue. She was predeceased by her father, Jon F. Chetwynd.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes.
Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
