Obituary for Loretta Proctor

Cohoes Loretta Proctor, - Loretta Chevalier Proctor, 95, of Dudley Ave passed away peacefully at her residence embraced by her loving family on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late William and Eva Sabourin Chevalier and beloved wife of the late Duane Proctor.

Loretta was a lifelong resident of Cohoes and graduated from the former St. Marie's School. She was employed as a millworker with the former Swan Knit. Loretta enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Marilyn Kebea of Cohoes, sister, Alice Adams from Clifton Park, grandchildren, Timothy (Jamie) Shaughnessy, Colleen (Carmen) Trimarchi, Maureen Shaughnessy, Karen (Edward) Gregory and Kevin Shaughnessy, great grandchildren, Amy and Carmen Trimarchi, Aileen and Kerry Shaughnessy, great, great grandson, Luca Trimarchi, several nieces and nephews and extended family members. She was predeceased by her siblings, Leo, Arthur, Clarence, Marcil, Edward, Thomas, Francis and Earl Chevalier, Alida Ayotte, Evelyn Prouty, Rita Moss, Eleanor Lape and Jeanette Belleard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Church of The Holy Trinity, 122 Vliet Blvd on Wednesday morning, January 16 at 11:00 with her nephew, Reverend Thomas Chevalier officiating.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Church of The Holy Trinity from 10-11 prior to Mass.
