Obituary for Michael J. Krupski

COHOES Michael J. Krupski, 85, passed away at his home after a long illness Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

Born and educated in Cohoes, Mike was a lifelong resident of the city. He proudly served for 2 years in the US Army (Motor Pool). He was retired from the Ballston Spa School District where he worked as a bus mechanic. Michael enjoyed wood-working, fishing, hunting and camping. He camped at Aqua Vista Campground for over 50 years.

Mike was the son of the late Joseph and Stella Wojcik Krupski. He was one of thirteen children and eleven predeceased him, Helen Pingelski, Frances Oliver, Adella Falconio, Josephine Gallerie, John, Walter, Stanley, Joseph, Frank, Andrew, and Edward Krupski.

He is survived by his beloved partner, Dorothy Duell; his faithful dog, “Miss Yorkie;” by his brother, Valentine Krupski; his sister-in-law, Annie Krupski; his brother-in-law, Jerry Falconio as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes. Interment will follow with military honors in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Waterford.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
