MALTA Peter E. Kuber, 69, has fallen asleep in death Friday, February 17, 2023 at Saratoga Hospital. This death is only a temporary sleep, and shortly he will be awakened by Jesus Christ to a beautiful paradise earth where his health, wife and family will be restored. The hope and dreams will be fulfilled, and he will live forever in peace with family and friends.
Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Stephen and Elizabeth Christie Kuber. At the age of 10, he and his family moved to Cohoes and settled on Willow Street. In his 20’s Peter’s life changed forever when he met the love of his life, Kathleen Braymer Kuber. They were married in 1976 and celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary this past November.
A hard worker, Peter was an entrepreneur who owned and operated many of his own businesses over the years. These included, The Olde Polish Deli in Watervliet as well as a painting business and a hot dog cart. More recently, he has been employed at Price Chopper in Loudonville.
Peter will be remembered for his generous spirit and being a kind, loving and caring Husband, Dad, Grandfather and friend.
In addition to his beloved wife Kathleen, he is survived by his son, Donavan Kuber of Watervliet; by his grandchildren, Amilya Hall and Alexander Kuber; by his 3 siblings as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes on Saturday, February 25th from 1-4 p.m.
At a future date and time to be announced, a memorial service will be held in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 192 Edie Road, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. A Zoom link for the service will also be made available at that time.
