Obituary for Robert W. Cook
TROY Robert W. Cook, 51, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Diamond Hill Nursing & Rehab. Ctr.
A lifelong resident of Troy, Bob was the son of Shelley Stockwell Becker of Troy and the late Clyde E. Cook, Sr. and step son of the late Francis Becker.
Bob was an avid sports enthusiast. He loved to watch his NY Knicks and especially enjoyed bringing his family and friends to wrestling events. In his free time, he could often be found walking and taking trips to Walmart. He also had a great love of animals and leaves behind many furry friends.
In addition to his mother, Bob is survived by his siblings, Teddi-Jo Cook (David) of Cohoes, Clyde E. Cook, Jr. (Beth) and Aaron Cook (Lori) all of Troy, Michael McGee (Nicole) of Watervliet; his loving companion, Dorothy Howe of Saratoga as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
