Obituary for Roxanne G. Roylance

COHOES Roxanne G. Roylance, 70, died peacefully Thursday, September 8, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn. She is now reunited with her loved ones; her parents, Roseanne F. Roylance and Leonard D. Roylance, Sr.; her twin sister, Beverly Anne Roylance-Taylor and her infant brother, Leonard D. Roylance, Jr.

Roxanne was a medical coder for many years with the Albany Visiting Nurses Assoc. and St. Peter’s Hospital.
Throughout life, her motto was always “Believe.” She participated in the Albany Relay for Life for over 20 years and was part of “The Home Team” and “The Believers.” She also started the “Birthday Club” with some of her special friends. She loved going to Saratoga Racecourse and never missed attending opening day with her Daddy.

Roxanne is survived by her brother, Daniel L. Roylance of Cohoes; by her special friends and caregivers, JoEllen Shackett, Sue and Jim Miles-Weitzel as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her aunt, many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home,105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie.

Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Monday from 4-6 p.m.
