Obituary for Shirley A. Gallucci (Lajeunesse)
COHOES Shirley A. Lajeunesse Gallucci, 76, after a courageous battle with breast cancer, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her residence in the loving arms of her daughter. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Margaret Keough Lajeunesse, Sr.
A very loving and caring woman, Shirley was a lifelong resident of Cohoes and graduated from Keveny Memorial Academy. She retired as a data entry clerk with CSC in East Greenbush. She was a member of the Watervliet Senior Citizens and enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching movies.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Patricia “Tricia” (David Ahders) Gallucci of Waterford, nephews, Sean (Stacy) Lajeunesse and Glenn (Heather) Lajeunesse along with several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas E. Lajeunesse, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home 105 Vliet Blvd. Cohoes, Saturday morning, December 11, 2021 from 10 -11. A time of Sharing will follow at 11:00.
Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Waterford.
