Obituary for William L. Basios Jr.

Cohoes William L. Basios, Jr., - William L. Basios, Jr, 62 of Harmony St in Cohoes passed away at his resident on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Born in Cohoes he was the son of the late William L. and Beverly D. Seguin Basios, Sr.

Bill was a lifelong resident of Cohoes and graduated from Cohoes High School. He was employed with the Cohoes City School District in the maintenance department. Bill was an avid fan of wrestling and enjoyed video games. His favorite pastime was his CB radio and the friends he made. Bill also enjoyed hunting with his brother in law, Mark.

He is survived by his devoted sister, Robin A. (Mark) Giroux of Cohoes, niece, Victoria L. (Paul) Nadeau and their children, Jacob and Mason, along with several dear extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd 105 Vliet Blvd Cohoes, Saturday morning, September 15 at 9:00 with Deacon Charles Valenti officiating.

Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday, September 14, from 4-6 pm.
